Francis J L Coelho (81), formerly of Oman National Insurance Co., Muscat and Mandovi Motors, Mangalore, son of the late Dr Aloysius Coelho and Rose Coelho, husband of Elaine ("Cuckoo"), formerly of Indian School, Muscat, father of Vanitha (+ Herman), Jawahar (+ Vimi), Priya (+ Madan) and Dhyan ("Dinoo" + Cynthia), and grandfather of Nina, Kavya, Sara, Arya and Jay, of 'Melrose', Falnir, Mangalore, passed away on May 22, 2018.

His mortal remains will be placed for viewing and final respects in the church of Our Lady of Miracles, Milagres, Mangalore, from 3 pm on Thursday, May 24, with Mass to follow at 4.00 pm.

Prayers in lieu of flowers will be appreciated.

I have such fond memories of his humor and kindness from the days when I was one among the motorcycle gang that used to hang out at Melrose Motors in the late 60s. More recently Francis was gracious to treat me and some friends to a picnic at your beach house in Manjeshawar when I visited Mangalore in 2013. I will miss dear Francis.
