Sr M Misericors BS (86), Nilekani, Sirsi, of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, nee Therese Jacob Mendonca of the Congregation of the Sisters of the Little Flower of Bethany, Mangaluru, belonging to Bangalore Province, and D/o late Jacob Mendonca and Isabella Mendonca, passed away on July 15, 2018.

Funeral cortege leaves Jyothi Nilaya Chapel, Bengaluru on Monday, July 16 at 9 am, to Kammanahalli parish church, followed by mass.

Our very dear Sister Daya( Misericors) gone to the Lord. I appreciate you Sister for your devotion to the Lord and Mother Mary. I remember with joy the meditation points you explained to us in the novitiate when you were our asst. novice mistress. Anjali Ashram thanks you for your devoted service to Guruji Amalorananda at Jayalakshmipuram Ashram for two years 81-83. Your fidelity and devotion to Guruji brought you to the Ashram many times specially June 15th and December 8th to the samadhi of Guruji to celebrate his birthday and feastday. How I cherish your desire to see Guruji's centre at Alundur Trichy which we were able to fulfil few years ago. We could not take you to Kallery his birthplace which you desired so much. Whenever it was possible we made it a point from the Ashram Swami Louis and myself to visit you at Jyothi Convent during the past two years. We were happy we could see you and speak to you on 6th July. May you find the rest and eternal bliss and have a meeting place with your dear ones and Guruji in heaven. We will miss you here below.
