Mangaluru, Jan 20: Durga Entertainment productions which is making record collections with 'Pilibail Yamunakka', is preparing itself for a new venture, 'My Name is Annappa'.

Mayur Shetty is the director of the film. The movie's posters were released on Makara Sankranti.

Just as the catchy title 'Pilibail Yamunakka', the title 'My Name is Annappa' has also received appreciation, it is said. The film will be an attempt to present a thriller story along with comedy. Despite being a comedy, it is woven in a way that does not affect the storyline, says Mayur. Mayur has written the story, script and dialogues for the film.

The artistes who have acted in 'Pilibail Yamunakka' will also be seen in this movie. It is intended to introduce a comedy artiste who has won the hearts of the audience in Tulunadu as the hero. The heroine will be somebody whose mother tongue is Kannada, says the film crew.
