Managluru: St Ann's College to host a 2 - day national seminar

Mangaluru, Feb 15: A two - day national conference on 'Paradigms of Educational Research – Status and Challenges' will be held will be held by St Ann’s College of Education (Autonomous), Mangaluru at their campus, on February 22 and 23.

The college will organise the conference to provide a platform to researchers to discuss the status and challenges of paradigms and methodologies of 'Educational Research'. Thus, contribute to the progress of the respective discipline and in general, education.

The conference covers a wide range of sub-themes - Teacher Education, Higher Education, Secondary and Senior Secondary Education, Physical Education, Inclusive Education, Nursing Education, Management Education, Computer Education, Educational Technology and Social Work.

The National Conference is open to all students to have a meaningful and interactive experience with scholars and experts.

About St Ann's College of Education

The college strives for quality education and prepares teachers for modern society with personal, academic, research and professional excellence to spread the light of wisdom and knowledge to humanity. It has carved a niche for itself over the years with its establishment in the year 1943 as the first private training Women’s college in Karnataka State. The institution now has a Post- Graduate College of Education as it steps into its fiftieth year.

It has become an autonomous institution from 2007 and is the only institution which has obtained the 'Autonomous' status among the colleges of 'Teacher Education' in Karnataka.

In 2008, the college research centre was recognised by Mangalore University. The institution has undergone three cycles of NAAC Accreditation with Five Star Status and re-accreditation with ‘A’ Grade with CGPA of 3.63/4.0 and3.71/4.0 respectively.
