Mumbai, Mar 6: The annual public reading of Shaneeshwara scriptures was held by Guru Narayana Yakshagana Mandali at Billavara Bhavan, Santacruz east on Saturday afternoon March 4.

The programme was held under the guidance of National Billavara Maha Mandala president Jaya C Suvarna. Association president Nithyanand D Kotian and Shashi Nithyanand couple lit the traditional lamp and inaugurated the programme.

Veteran businessman Vaman D Poojary, association honorary chief secretary Dharmapal G Anchan, honorary chief treasurer Mahesh C Karkal, cultural committee executive president Dayanand R Poojary, vice president Bhasker V Bangera, Ashok Kukyan Sasihitlu, Guru Narayana Yakshagana Mandali leader C T Salian, Krishna Bangera, social and religious sub committee secretary Ravindra A Ameen, association manager Bhasker T Poojary, Devaraj Poojary, Dombivli, Shivarama Kotian Kalina, heads of association local and coordination committees and office bearers were present.

Cultural sub committee members Baby S Kukyan, Padmanabha K Poojary and several Yakshagana artistes were present. Yashodhar D Poojary, Mulki B M Suvarna read Suvarna grantha. Devotees participated in community prayers.
