Mumbai: Bharath Co-operative Bank awarded for excellence

Mumbai, Mar 7: The excellent co-operative bank in Maharashtra award that is being presented every year by the Maharashtra Urban Cooperative Bank's Federation is presented for the sixth time in succession to Bharath Cooperative Bank Limited. The award is presented for their business which exceeded Rs 3,000 in 2016. The bank was also honored for excellent IT department.

The awards were presented during the 38th annual meeting of the bank's federation and awards ceremony held in Vadala sports auditorium on Monday March 6. Federation president Vidyadhar Anasker together with Maharashtra government minister of finance Subhash Rao Deshmukh presented the awards to Bharath Bank executive president Jaya C Suvarna and managing director and CEO C R Mulki and congratulated them.

Reserve Bank of India has commended the services of the Federation. Former minister of finance in the state, MLA Anand Rao Adsul, bank's federation convener Bhasker Rao Kothavde. Ashok Shukla, Gulab Rao Shelke and other office bearers were present on the dais. Federation CEO Saili Bhoir compered the programme. Vice president Ramakanth Ketan proposed the vote of thanks.
