Mangaluru: Grand audio release of Tulu film 'Arjun Weds Amrutha' on Mar 18

Mangaluru, Mar 17: The audio release of the much awaited Tulu film of the year 'Arjun Weds Amrutha' will be released at a grand function at Town Hall on March 18. BJP leader Nagraj Shetty, M G Hegde and other dignitaries are expected to be at the grand audio launch.

'Arjun Weds Amrutha' has seven songs composed by female composer, Suma Shashtri. She happens to be the first female composer in the history of Tulu films. TV9 program director Rajesh Shetty and Damodar Dandole have penned the lyrics. Rajesh Krishnan, Hemanth, L N Shashtri, Supriya and Suma have lent their voice to the songs.

The film is a love story with an emotional subject and dash of comedy. Produced under the banner Bedra 9 Creations, the film has been directed by Raghu Shetty. He has written the story, dialougues and screenplay as well. Madipu fame Chethan Mundadi is the art director and Anand Sundaresh is the cinematographer. 'Arjun weds Amrutha' has been shot across Mangaluru and Kerala.

'Nirel' and 'Dhand' fame Anoop Sagar and Aradhya Shetty play the title characters of Arjun and Amrutha respectively. Naveen D Padil will be seen in a prominent role in the film. Aravind Bolar, Bojraaj Vamanjoor, Umesh Mijar, Sundar Rai Mandara and RJ Anurag will be seen supporting roles.

The movie 'Arjun weds Amrutha' is expected to release on May 19.
