Mangaluru: Two-wheeler skid - student killed

Mangaluru, Mar 22: In an accident which happened at Kalasaguri within Bajpe police station limits here on the evening of Tuesday March 21, a student lost his life. Rameez (18), son of Basheer from Kanjilakody in Addur died after the two-wheeler in which he was riding as pillion rider, skidded.

The teenager was a student of interior designing course of a college in the city. Taufeeq, who was riding the two-wheeler, suffered injuries in this accident.

Rameez was seated in the two-wheeler which his friend, Taufeeq, was riding towards Kanjilakody from Polali when Taufeeq lost control over the vehicle. The vehicle suddenly fell on the road, it is said. In the process, it hit another vehicle moving by that point. Rameez, who suffered critical injuries, died on the spot.

A case about the accident stands filed at Bajpe police station.
