Bantwal: Sadashiva Bangera appointed BUDA chairman

Bantwal,  Mar 23: Sadashiva Bangera has been chosen to head Bantwal Urban Development Authority (BUDA). His appointment was made through an order issued by secretary in the department of urban development, Nagaraj.

Bangera has served as municipal councillor of this town for three terms. After the completion of his term, Bangera's predecessor, Pious L Rodrigues, had handed over charge to Mangaluru assistant commissioner, Dr Ashok, who was appointed as administrator for BUDA till the appointment of a new chairman.

Sadashiva Bangera, who is involved with various  organizations, belongs to backward Kulal community. Dakshina Kannada district Moolyara alias Kulalara Sangha Mangaluru, Bantwal taluk Kulal Sudharaka Sangh,  Karnataka Karavali Kulala Kumbarara Yuvavedike Mangaluru, Lions Club Bantwal, and  various other organizations, individuals and institutions have expressed elation at the appointment of Bangera to the post.
