Mangaluru: Tulu film 'Chapter' to release on April 7

Mangaluru Mar 31: Tulu film 'Chapter' produced under L V Productions banner is all set to release on April 7 across Dakshina Kannada and Udupi.

'Chapter', directed by Mohan Bhatkal, stars Asthik Shetty, Aishwarya Gowda and Sanjana Naidu in the lead. Kannada serial Ashwini Nakshatra fame Sunil will play a negative character in the film.

The film will be released at Jyothi theatre and also at three multiplexes in Mangaluru, Aruna theatre in Puttur, Kalpana theatre in Udupi, Natraj theatre in Surathkal. The film will also be released in Belthangady and Karkala. There are plans of releasing the film in Bengaluru, Theerthahalli and Koppa as well.

Mohan Bhatkal who has worked as the assistant director of sandalwood hits like Gaja, Brindavana and Power will be making his debut as a director in coastalwood cinema. 'Chapter' is said to be a complete entertainer. The film has been shot across Mangaluru, Bengaluru, Udupi, Kundapur and Agumbe in a 33-day schedule.

Chapter movie broke all records both literally and virtually, with more than 40,000 viewers for its trailer within two days of release. The upcoming movie has a record of 1,10,000 viewers for its song 'Niralad Poye Yan Ninna' within two days of its upload. The film continues to get a unique response on social media sites. While the trailer of the film throws light on the movie plot, the song on Youtube is evidence of its technical richness.

The movie comprises four songs in the film along with an item number have been composed by Surendranath. He is known for a few movies in Kannada including 'Kinare' and 'Yenendu Hesaridali'.
