M'luru: Tulu film artistes debut in Sandalwood with Banna Bannada Baduku

Mangaluru, Apr 17: Coastalwood artistes who were known in Tulu film so far have debuted in Sandalwood this time. Gopinath Bhat, Chetan Rai Mani, Ramesh Rai Kukkuvalli are seen in unique roles in Kannada movie Banna Bannada Baduku which will be released on Friday, May 19.  Banna Bannada Baduku is based on the life of Yakshagana artiste of Coastal Karnataka.

The film's touching plot portrays the difficulties concerning religion and the fencing of caste that is hindering to the life of popular the  Yakshagana artiste. It resolves to show how he overcomes them. The role of the Yakshagana artiste is played by the maestro in the art itself, Sathish Shetty.

The high-budget Kannada film is being produced by Krishna Naik Karkal, under Sri Muthu Ram creation banner.

The story, script, dialogues and direction for the film is done by Ismail Moodushedde.

Veteran Kannada actors Ramesh Bhat, Sathyajit, Honnavalli Krishna and Apoorvashree are seen in important roles in the film.

Raviraj Shetty, Anvitha Sagar and Ria Meghana play the lead in the film.

Music director A K Vijay Kokila, author Suresh R S, singer Vidyasharad, cinematographer Vijay S, dance director Anusha Hegde, arts director Harish Acharya and many other talents have made their debut in  Sandalwood through this film.

"The film has been issued a U-certificate from the censor board, " said the movie team at a  press release. Director Ismael Moodushedde, production supervisor Chennappa Gowda, hero Raviraj Shetty, heroine Ria Meghana, assistant director Suresh R S were present at the press meet.
