Muscat, May 2: Mangalorean Catholic Center of the Parish (MCCP), conducted a blood donation camp on April 22 at the central Blood Bank, Bowsher, Sultanate of Oman.

The event was conducted from 8.00 am to 4.00 pm. Around 22 members took part in the donation, out of which only 12 were qualified to donate blood.

The donors were provided with snacks and a keychain as a memento by Dilip Correa, president of MCCP for the silver jubilee year.

Sharon Alva received a special award for being the most frequent donor present at the event. This event has provided Team 25 of MCCP a sense of fulfillment of service to the community through this noble cause. This was MCCP's first venture in organising a blood donation camp.
