Mumbai: Renowned entrepreneur Narasimha Uggappa Mada passes away

Mumbai, May 20: Narasimha Uggappa Mada (86), retired executive of Great Eastern Shipping Company Limited and popular entrepreneur passed away at his residence in Mumbai on Saturday, May 20 after a brief illness.

He was the elder brother of a well-known social worker in Mumbai, Vishwanath U Mada and Dr K U Mada. He hailed from Kuloor Kudradi, Mangaluru and was running his business in Mumbai.

His wife had passed away recently. He has left behind three sons, a daughter and a large number of friends and relatives. His last rites were performed in Pavanhamsa crematorium, Juhu in the evening on May 20.
