Mumbai, May 24: A get-together of old students of Chembur Karnataka High School and Junior College for the year 2008-2009 was held at the school auditorium recently.

Besides old students, retired teachers, present teachers and non-teaching staff were present at the gathering.

Chembur Karnataka Sangha president, advocate H K Sudhakar Arate, secretary Ranjan Kumar R Ameen and old student's association president Mahesh S Shetty were on the dais.

Sudhakar Arate shared his experience and said that students must take decisions based on situation. Mahesh Shetty said that old students should encourage present students in the school and college and provide free education and medical facilities for poor students.

Old students handed over their contributions to the president of Chembur Karnataka Sangha. They formed an organizing committee under the leadership of Mahesh Shetty.

The programme concluded after dance and entertainment. Ranjan Kumar Ameen proposed the vote of thanks.
