Bengaluru: Konkani movie 'Noshibacho Khell' receives overwhelming response

Bengaluru, Jun 1: Super-hit Konkani Movie 'Noshibacho Khell' was successfully screened in the city on May 28, with the overwhelming support for both the shows, in a 1000 capacity auditorium, at St Josephs College auditorium, Richmond Circle, Bengaluru.

Despite the threatening rains that whiplashed the city for the last couple of days, people attended in large numbers. DNI Home Theatre ensured a good quality video and audio support and were successful in ensuring theatre atmosphere in the huge auditorium.


    














Before screening the film, organizers Konkani Samudai, Jayanagar, felicitated producer Henry D’Silva. Principal of St Joseph’s College, Fr Victor Lobo SJ congratulated him for his bold move to produce a Konkani movie. Alex Lewis (Owner of DNI), Seema Buthello (South India Queen Miss Beautiful Eyes 2015), Fr Francis Almeida (Principal of Loyola College, Bengaluru), Anitha Gomes (President of Konkani Samudai, Jayanagar), vice-president Ivy Fernandes, general secretary Noel Fernandes and treasurer Savitha Furtado were also present.

This was the first time a Konkani movie was screened in Bengaluru after 'Padri' which was released more than a decade ago. Overall, it was a great success.
