Mangaluru, June 17: Tulu film 'Pattanaje' which stresses on Tulu culture and values is scheduled to release on September 1.

The film is the first presentation by Kalajagathu Creations to Coastalwood. Said to be a family story, the film directed by Thonse Vijayakumar Shetty has received U certificate from the censor board.

The announcement of the release date has added to the curiosity. The film has a story, based on the life of Yakshagana artistes. The presence of love in the heart Yakshagana artistes will be known in the film. Thonse Vijayakumar who has studied Yakshagana art in depth, will show his experience through the film. "The film has a story that will be liked by youth and elders alike," says Thonse.

Shivadhwaj, Chetan Rai Mani, Reshma Shetty Mumbai, Pratheek, Surya Rao, Juliet, Kajal Kunder, Drishya Shetty, Surendra Hegde, Seetha Kote, Sundara Rai Mandara, Sathish Shetty Patla and others have acted in the film. The film with artists and technicians from Mumbai, Tulunadu and Kannada film industry, will provide a new dimension to the Tulu film industry.
