Mangaluru: Maryvale School commences classes for new academic year

Mangaluru, Jun 18: It was a joyous day in the history of Maryvale  on Saturday, June 17 as they ventured into the new academic year with the able leadership of  headmistress Sr Nisha D’Souza BS.

The new cabinet members, who were elected by the students, took active participation in the oath taking ceremony which was held in Maryvale school  auditorium.









Mater Nolan Antony D’Souza, school pupils' leader, Akash M Poojary the assistant school pupils' leader, along with other cabinet leaders marched the stage with their heads high along with the president of the day, Sr Nisha D’Souza.
 
Sr Nisha D'Souza, the headmistress, in her presidential address invited the students to talk less and work more. Thus to be loyal to the institution. Leaders need to be faithful, sincere and generous in their service to the school along with the teaching and non-teaching staff.   

The master of ceremony was by Kushi. Nolan Antony D’Souza welcomed the gathering and Neil Emmamuel Mathias proposed the vote of thanks.
