Mangaluru: Students of Expert PU College excel in NEET exam

Mangaluru, Jun 23: Students of Expert PU Colleges, Kodialbail and Valachil, have secured exemplary results in the recently held NEET exam.

Eight students of the Institute have scored more than 603 marks. They are Sujith S (all India 784th rank - 633 marks out of 720), Rajath (840th rank - 631 marks), Rashmi Giridhar Bhat (1061st rank - 625 marks), Prarthana R (1135th rank - 624 marks), V Y Prajwal (2109th rank - 609marks, Megha D (2271st rank - 606 marks), Annapoorna P (2284th rank - 606 marks), Tejaswini Shekar (2461st rank - 604 marks).

Similarly, Anjitha M N (3027th rank - 598 marks), Rachana R (3361st rank - 595 marks), Manasa T K (3785th rank - 591 marks), Poojitha R (5499st rank - 9579 marks), Shivani M D (5857th rank - 576 marks), Prajwal Raveendra Devaraddi (5905th rank - 576 marks) and Shivani L Bhat (6119th rank - 575 marks) have excelled. These are all General Merit rankings.

In the category, Mayur M secured 48th rank, Trishul Kumar Nayak 246th rank.

Chairman of the Institution, Prof Narendra L. Nayak has congratulated all these students.

This time nearly 11 lac students appeared for NEET, out of which nearly 6 lac students passed the exam (54.5%). Out of 1,016 students of Expert, 925 students have passed (91%).

It may be recalled here that Prathik S Nayak of Expert PU College secured the first rank in this year's CET (Engg and also B pharma), and Srujana N of the College topped the state in 2nd PUC Board examinations in the science stream.
