Bengaluru, Jun 27: Some Congress leaders have decided to complain to party in-charge of state K C Venugopal against V S Ugrappa who had initiated no-confidence motion against Legislative Council Chairman D H Shankaramurthy recently.

The motion was defeated and Congress faced embarrassment because of this, as this situation could have been avoided with proper calculation made in advance. But Ugrappa, who had conceived this idea, insisted that Congress would gain victory in the motion by ousting Council Chairman.

Some legislators under the leadership of Yashwantpur MLA S T Somashekar had complained to state Congress chief Dr G Parameshwara. No action has been taken by state Congress against Ugrappa so far.

The same group of legislators now is waiting for Venugopal who will arrive in city on Tuesday from New Delhi. The legislators want to send a signal to Ugrappa that he should not take any decision which will damage the Congress party in the state.
