Canon India launches two new models of 'PIXMA' printers


New Delhi, June 27 (IANS): Aiming to augment the smart printing experience of home users, digital imaging company Canon India on Tuesday announced the expansion of its Inkjet wireless range with the launch of two new models of PIXMA printers.

The new PIXMA printers - PIXMA TS 3170 and PIXMA E 3170 -- comes equipped with a segment-LCD display with intuitive icons that guide the user through all operations from wireless set-up to making multiple copies using different document sizes. 

"The extension of our 'TS' and 'E' series inkjet printers is a step ahead in empowering the emerging tech-savvy Indian households with global technologies and smarter devices," said C. Sukumaran, Assistant Director, Consumer Systems Products, Canon India. 

The operation panel features one-touch switching to direct wireless connection and back to standard network infrastructure mode, making it easy for guests to connect and print without the need to divulge confidential wireless network passwords.

Both the printers come with a fingerprint and scratch resistant glossy grid pattern on their top surfaces which is aimed at making them easy to maintain.

The PIXMA TS 3170, best suited for occasional printing, and the PIXMA E 3170, geared for everyday printing, are available for Rs 4,995 and Rs 5,995 respectively.
