Mangaluru: 'Maa - Yeh Cinemaa Hai' - Alia gets engaged to Arjun

Mangaluru, Jul 22: Viewers of 'Maa - Yeh Cinemaa Hai' on Daijiworld 24x7 will see Alia getting engaged to Arjun in this week's episode.

After Varun makes Sidharth understand the value of Mother and giving him all instances about how much she is missing him, Sidharth realizes his mistake as he sits quietly on the terrace and breaks out in tears.

Meanwhile, Aditya calls Varun and tells him that he has come to Mumbai for a few days along with Shradha, for a film shoot.  He invites Varun to come over to meet him. Later in the evening, Varun meets Aditya and requests him to accompany him to meet Alia, as for the last time would try and see if he could convince her, just for the sake of Sidharth, who is madly in love with her.



Aditya and Varun go to Alia’s house, to be welcomed by Ayushmann and a few guests there. It is then that they get to know that Alia is getting engaged to Arjun the same evening. Tiger, the Labrador is been introduced to the guests and they have a good time playing with the little one.

Ayushmann calls Alia and informs her about Varun, Alia is happy to know that Varun is in Bombay and invites him for the engagement. She recalls that few years ago, she was friendly with Varun, Sidharth and the family members, as her brother Mahesh and sister in law Namrata were friends to their cousin Sonali.

Ayushmann comes home to see if Alia is ready and the family is all excited for the engagement.

Sajid is the host who welcomes the family members of Alia – Mahesh, Namrata, Ayushmann along with children Preeti and Sriman and Arjun’s family – Ajay and Rani. Arjun and Alia exchange rings and then they dance to the romantic number, Neele Neele Ambar Par doing a waltz number.

Alia and Arjun are greeted by the guests, as they interact and take selfie pics. Aditya tries to flirt around with all the women in the party including the Bhabhi’s of Alia (Namrata) and Arjun (Rani)

Alia excuses from everyone and takes Varun aside and they talk about Sidharth, Maa, family members, and Alia gives her explanation to Varun as to why she walked out of Sidharth’s life and Varun understands that and is happy for her. He assures her that he will see to it that Sidharth realizes his mistake, and whatever is happened is past and henceforth he will make sure that Sidharth takes life seriously and focuses on his work and gives time to family too.

Sidharth on the other hand is at his work place at Patanjali and as he places the products on the shelf, he remembers  some good memories of the past with  Maa. While at bath, while oiling his hair with head massage, while preparing his favorite fish fry. Remembering those moments, he reacts – coughs to which his manager Vishnu Prasad intervenes and asks him the whereabouts.

Varun comes back from the engagement and meets Sidharth, while Reema aunty calls and asks them casually to keep in contact. That is when they decide to go to mangaluru and give a surprise to Mom.

The song Neele Neele Ambar Par has been playback sung by Dr. Nitin Acharya and its picturised on Aurobindo, Clement Sequeira along with Sanjukta Ghosh, Shivam Kataria, Mahesh & Anitha Dulam, Silver Malani, Akash Hora and many others are part of the song. Eric Clapton’s song ‘Wonderful Tonight’ is rendered by brothers Vinoo Varghese and Nishanth Varghese and is picturised on Aurobindo and Ashwin Dcosta.

The theme song of Mog Tuzo Kithlo Ashelon instrumental and Showers of Blessings by Prajoth Dsa also plays in some sequences of this series.

Also the song ‘This is me telling you’ from the film SMS 6260 featuring Diganth and Janu and the Kannada song, ‘Preethiye Ninna Vilasava Vanna’ from the film Manasella Neene featuring Nagendra Prasad and Gayathri Raghuram is incorporated in a scene in this week series as a song played on television. Both the films are Malani’s projects as SMS 6260 was directed by him and Manasella Neene, he was the associate director.

The above sequences will be telecast in the fresh episodes of 'Maa – Yeh Cinemaa Hai' on Sunday, July 23 at 7.30 pm. The fresh new timings of repeat telecast being on Tuesday, July 25 at 11.30 am and Friday, July 28 at 12 midnight and Saturday, July 29 at 10.30 am.

The film series is edited by Santosh Chawla with assistance by Vignesh Thanupillai. Jointly produced by Ranjeet Jha, Santosh Chawla, Sundeep Malani and Edward Dsouza.
