Mangaluru: Anand, Lahari help Coastalwood music gain popularity

Mangaluru, Aug 6: Coastalwood has been presenting many good movies for its fans over the past few years. Foot-tapping tracks too have been regularly churned out for music lovers.

Two of very well-known music companies, Anand Audio and Lahari Music have been purchasing the music rights of many Tulu films. Association of Tulu films with such big music companies has been one of the reasons for Tulu songs to be hit among masses.

Recently, Anand Audio and Lahari Music purchased the music rights of Tulu film ‘Are Marler’ and Konkani film ‘Anthu’.

Super hit and popular songs have come up in Tulu from the past 3-4 years. Tulu film ‘Rang’ had ‘Premanaathe Paas Aathe’ which was a runaway hit all over the world.

‘Chandi Kori’ had ‘Porluda, Porluda Tulunadu’ and ‘Udaya, Udaya’ which were loved by fans. Songs of films like ‘Oriyardori Asal’ and ‘Madime’ were also superhit.
