Dubai: KCF to host Independence Day event ‘Sneha Milana’ on Aug 18

Dubai, Aug 13: Karnataka Cultural Foundation is all set to celebrate the 71st Indian Independence Day on Friday, August 18, at 6.30 pm at the Pearl City Suite Hotel Banquet Hall, Opp City Centre, Deira, here, in a unique manner.  

This was announced at a meeting of the members of the press and committee members of KCF headed by Abdul Razak (Dewa) at his residence, at Mirdiff, Deira, Dubai.

The programme will commemorate India’s independence and unity in diversity, hosting all Indians from various caste, creed and religions, living its slogan ‘Desha Ulisi Dwesha Alisi’.

















KCF will host 'Eradicate Hatred and Save the Nation', a programme to remember India's freedom fighters. KCF requested all Kannadigas in UAE to participate in the programme that celebrates freedom of the nation beyond the lines of caste and religion.

The Independence programme reception committee chairman Abdul Razaq DEWA will preside over the function. General secretary, KCF International Council, Sheikh Bava, will inaugurate the ceremony. KM Abubakar Siddiq Montugoli State Haj Committee Member will be the keynote speaker. Ivan D’Souza chief whip of the Karnataka Legislative Council, Abdul Hameed Sa'adi Eshwaramangala, president, KCF UAE, Praveen Shetty, president, Karnataka NRI Forum UAE, will be the special guests.

Mark Denis D'Souza entrepreneur and patron, Karnataka Sangha Sharjah, K R Tantri, vice-president of Dubai Karnataka Sangha, James Mendonca of Mangalore Konkans, Sugandraj Bekal, president of Karnataka Sangha Sharjah, Balakrishna Salian from Mogaveeras Dubai, Mallikarjuna Gowda from Kannadigaru Dubai, Janab Usman Haji Kodagu, general secretary of KCF UAE, Janab Abdul Jaleel Nizami, chairman of KCF UAE knowledge division, Arun Karyappa from Caveri Trading, Dubai, Haji Ashraf Adyar, leader of Sunni organizations Dubai, and other social leaders will take part in the event.

Master Tasdeeq Abdul Razak will be felicitated on occasion for receiving the award by US Space Academy Wings, Alabama, USA, in recognition of completing the requirements for US Space Academy in US Space and Rocketry Programme Training Camp.
