Puttur: Newly married man ends life

Puttur, Aug 14: Keshava Gowda (30) from Nidya in Kodimbadi village in the taluk hanged himself from a tree at Beeramale hill near Darbe bypass road here on Saturday August 12.

Keshava was a carpenter by profession and used to sell furniture. His marriage was performed during April this year. On Saturday morning, Keshava had left home with milk for being delivered to milk society. Thereafter, he had not returned home.

The family members, who had conducted a search for Keshava, filed police complaint after failing in their effort. Thereafter, information came about a youth having hanged himself from the tree at Beeramale hill. The family members went there and identified the body.

A case about this suicide stands filed in the town police station here. Keshava is believed to have become frustrated over some issue although the family is not aware about it.
