Mumbai: Ganiga Samaja celebrates 71st Independence Day, present scholarships

Mumbai, Aug 16: Ganiga Samaja on August 15 celebrated India's 71st Independence Day at their office at Kurla east by hoisting India's national flag. Ganiga Samaja Mumbai president Kutpadi Ramachandra M Ganiga hoisted the flag and distributed scholarships to the students in the community.

Vice president of Ganiga Samaja, M Ganiga, honorary chief secretary Chandrashekar R Ganiga, honorary treasurer Jayanth Padmanabha Ganiga, Vidyodaya committee executive president Vijayendra Ganiga, youth wing president Ganesh R Kutpadi, Y Balakrishna Katpadi were on the dais.



Joint secretary Jagadish Ganiga, working committee members Rajesh Kutpadi, Arathi Sathish Ganiga, Veena Dinesh Ganiga, Dinesh Rao T S, Narendra Rao, Vinayaka Bhatkal, Dinesh Ganiga Bhayander, Gangadhar N Ganiga, office in charge Padmanabha N Ganiga and others were present at the programme.

Isha Rajesh Ganiga presented a poem witten by her on clean India. Former secretary B V Rao welcomed everyone, gave the keynote address and compered the programme. Chandrashekar R Ganiga proposed the vote of thanks. The programme concluded after the National Anthem.
