Mangaluru, Sep 16: Sandalwood’s well-known film production company and distributers, Thoogudeepa Productions, have purchased the distribution rights of Tulu film ‘Rang Rangda Dibbana’.

Thoogudeepa Productions’ Deepak Gangadhar who watched the film was so impressed that he decided to purchase the distribution rights of the film. The move is said to be a positive development for Coastalwood cinema.

Produced by Sharath Kotian, the film is said to be an entertainer with catchy songs by composer S P Chandrakanth. Bollywood technicians were involved in the production of the film.

Thoogudeepa Productions has produced and distributed many Kannada films like Bulbul, Ugramm, Ambarisha, Chakravarthy, Neer Dose and many more. ‘Rang Rangda Dibbana’ directed by Krishnaprasad Uppinakote, will the first regional language film distributed by Thoogudeepa Productions.

The film is said to be releasing on October 20, 2017.
