Mangaluru: Srinivas Institute organises health camp for newborn babies, children

Mangaluru, Oct 10: The department of Paediatrics, Srinivas Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre, Surathkal, under the guidance of Dr Edwin Dias, professor and HOD, conducted a four-day new born and child health camp at Pediatric OPD from October 4 to 7.

The camp was attended by Dr Srinivas Rao, vice-president, Shama Rao Foundation, pro-chancellor, Srinivas University; Anil Kumar, registrar, Srinivas University, Ajay Kumar, registrar, Srinivas University and Uday Kumar Rao, dean, Srinivas Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre.

As many as 240 patients were treated in the four-day camp. It was fun-filled camp where all the staff, interns and some students took active part. After examination and free treatment, the children and patients were given refreshments. Games were conducted all the four days and prizes were distributed.
