Mumbai: Bombay Bunts Association elects Subhash, Sharada Shetty as presidents

Mumbai, Oct 10: Bombay Bunts Association, on Sunday, October 8, celebrated its 34th anniversary, at Bunts center near Juinagar. President of the association Uppooru Shekar Shetty presided over the meeting.

The association elected presidents for the period 2017-19.

Present vice president, advocate Subhash B Shetty was elected president. Current women's wing vice president Sharada S Shetty was elected president of women's wing.

Subhash Shetty is an expert in labour and business law and hails from Putthigeguthu, near Bajpe. He is the son of late Balakrishna Shetty and late Laxmi Shetty.

Sharada S Shetty has served for the last sixteen years in the Bunts association women's wing as a working committee member, treasurer and vice president. She is the daughter of late Rukku Shetty and Ramakka Shetty from Nadalike Airsabettu, and the wife of Mumbai-based prestigious hotelier, social worker, former president of Bunts association, Sham N Shetty.
