Mangaluru: ‘KMC light house hill campus@ 50’ to be held on Oct 13

Mangaluru Oct 11: “Kasturba Medical College will celebrate commemorative function of ‘KMC light house hill campus @ 50’ on Friday October 13,” informed Dr Venkataraya Prabhu, dean of KMC.

Addressing a news conference here on Wednesday October 11, Dr M Venkataraya Prabhu said, “Chairperson of Hostel management committee Vasanthi R Pai will be the chief guest for the function, chairman of Medical education and medical group Dr Ranjan R Pai, chairman of Manipal Health Enterprises Dr H Sudharshan Ballal, Pro Vice Chancellor Manipal University Dr V Surendra Shetty and Pro Vice Chancellor Manipal University Dr Poornima Baliga will grace the occasion.” 

“Some of the pioneers of teaching faculty present during the year 1967 will be felicitated. Dr K R Shetty, Dr B M Hegde, Dr C R Kamath, Dr A V Shetty, Dr H T Manorama Rao, Dr R S Mahale, Dr C R Ballal, Dr M Laxman Pai, Dr M Govind Bhat, Dr Sunanda Kini, Dr K R Kamath and Jossie Lasrado (non-teaching staff) will be felicitated for their outstanding service,” said Dr Venkataraaya Prabhu. 

Associate dean Dr Unnikrishnan and Dr Santhosh Rai were present.
