Rahul condemns RSS leader's killing in Ludhiana, says violence unacceptable

New Delhi, Oct 18 (PTI): Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi today condemned the killing of RSS leader Ravinder Gosai in Ludhiana and demanded that the guilty be brought to justice.

"I strongly condemn the killing of RSS leader Ravinder Gosai in Ludhiana. Violence is unacceptable. The guilty must be brought to book," he said on Twitter.

Gosai was killed by two unidentified motorcycle-borne assailants yesterday in the Kailash Nagar locality of Ludhiana.

Ravinder Gosain, 60, was returning home after attending a morning drill (RSS shakha) when he was attacked, the police said. Gosain died on the spot while the attackers fled.

A three-member Special Investigation Team (SIT) led by Deputy Commissioner of Police Gagan Ajit Singh has been formed to probe the case.

Yash Giri, the city secretary of the RSS, had condemned the incident and said it was "definitely a targeted killing".

Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh had also raised the issue with Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh, who assured him of action soon.

The great grandson of Gandhi Parivar is at least honest condemning RSS leader's killing and violence is not acceptable. Unlike RSS political wing BJP's leaders goes to 'God's own country' and give different account to vitiate the peaceful existence.
I am glad that Papu or RAGA whichever name they like whose own Fathe of nation died taking bullets from this organisation, know to BJP's in social media hate club not reciprocated like Amit Shah or Arun Jaitley.

Congress who always said that 'Lord Ram never existed' is now running between temples in Gujarat. Prayin in full media glare and trying to woo Hindus. Now we RG who always abused and mocked RSS ,have him shed tears for the same brigade.

Regretfully, the atmosphere in the country is so vitiated with irresponsible and provocative statements that such unfortunate incidents will only spiral out of control until leaders especially the PM breaks his silence and counsels the nation with words of wisdom.
