Bengaluru: Siddaramaiah is lying about fulfilling manifesto, says H Vishwanath

Daijiworld Media Network - Bengaluru (SP)

Bengaluru, Oct 19: President of JD(S) campaign committee, H Vishwanath, said that chief minister (CM), Siddaramaiah's repeated claims that his party has fulfilled 155 out of 165 promises it had made before the election, as a bundle of lies. He added that the chief minister has been repeating this claim with the aim of creating an illusion in the minds of the people about his government's performance.

"No one is questioning the CM what promises were made by his party and which among them have been fulfilled. Therefore, Siddaramaiah has made it a habit to go on telling lies. In fact, Siddaramaiah has been able to implement only 39 of the poll promises. Out of these 39, money was spent only for 14. The others relate to administrative approval," he explained.

He pointed out that major promises like loan waiver for areca nut growers whose crops were affected by disease, permanent irrigation schemes for plains, title deeds to 30 lac resident of slums, laptops for all PU students, conversion of all primary health centres into 20-bed hospitals, giving power of choosing beneficaries under all the schemes to gram sabha, Rs 10,000 crore spending for Upper Krishna Project every year, title deeds under forest right act and several promises have not been met," he stated.

Vishwanath accused opposition BJP of owning silence instead of questioning Siddaramaiah on his tall claims. He felt that several 'Bhagya' series of claims failed because of improper follow up programmes although these programmes are good. "Myself and K R Ramesh Kumar had suggested to Siddaramaiah after he became chief miniister, to announce Ahinda loan waiver scheme, Anna Bhagya, doubling of housing scheme subsidy, and some other programmes. On April 10, both of us had shown the list of the party manifesto and requested him to announce these programmes immediately after swearing-in ceremony. Siddaramaiah did not have these ideas in his mind then," he analyzed.

He also accused the chief minister of failing to behave honourably with people and party leaders.

Vishwanath blamed BJP for projecting B S Yeddyurappa as its chief ministerial candidate. He also questioned Jagadish Shettar why he cannot collect data and question the chief minister on his tall claims. He also said that K S Eshwarappa always seems to be offering puja. "I am surprised by the profound silennce of BJP leaders," he stated.

In which way Yeddy was good ? By going to jail on corruption charges ? Crying in public like a baby ? Visiting temples with press people to fool majority ? Why no temples and pooja now ? He was not only fooling majority, but, also tried to fool God. That is why today he is like a dhobi ka............ Comparing our able CM with failed one is like comparing horse and donkey. Lage raho Siddhuji, we are with you.

One afternoon a fox was walking through the forest and spotted a bunch of grapes hanging from over a lofty branch.

“Just the thing to quench my thirst,” he thought.

Taking a few steps back, the fox jumped and just missed the hanging grapes. Again the fox took a few paces back and tried to reach them but still failed.

Finally, giving up, the fox turned up his nose and said, “They’re probably sour anyway,” and proceeded to walk away.
Here fox is Vishwanath.... He was trying for bigger posts but he did not get so he walked away from Siddu?????
