Mangaluru: Miss South Asia Teen Josita to debut in Konkani film ‘Zanvoy No. 1’

Mangaluru, Nov 17: Miss South Asia Teen Josita Anola Rodrigues will make her debut with Konkani film 'Zanvoy No. 1' directed by famous director Harry Fernandes Barkur.

Josita Anola who hails from Mangaluru is the daughter of Wilfred and Anita Rodrigues. She is presently pursuing her 2nd PUC at Sharada Vidyalaya. Jovita Anola is playing the female lead role in ‘Zanvoy No. 1’ opposite famed actor Kevin D’Mello.

Josita entered her first beauty pageant at the age of 16. It was Miss India beauty contest where girls from different places competed. At the age of 17, Shubhakiran Mani of Sizzling Guys Dance Studio introduced her to Charan Suvarna where she cleared the audition of Miss South Asia. In the final, Jovita was crowned the title of Miss South Asia Teen 2017. Jovita was selected to represent South Asia in the 10th World Super Model at Macau.

Josita says, “I was absolutely thrilled! It was both exhilarating and challenging. I had only about a month to prepare for the international contest and getting everything done before the deadline was not an easy task. I was groomed by my inspiration model-actress Sonal Monteiro. I was placed 10th and got an offer for a Hollywood movie. I had an amazing experience that opened up new opportunities for me and met fantastic people.”

After tasting success in modeling, Josita received an offer to star in Konkani film ‘Zanvoy No. 1’as the female lead. Josita believes that the movie will make a huge difference in her life.

A differently made super combination package of thrill, action, comedy, romance and high voltage drama ‘Zanvoy No.1’ will surely create a new landmark in the Konkani film industry with Josita shining in her role.
