Mohamed bin Zayed orders distribution of loans, residences, residential plots


Abu Dhabi, Dec 1 (Emirates 247): In implementation of the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, has instructed the distribution of 1,789 residences, 2,358 loans, and 2,647 residential plots in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain Region, and Al Dhafra Region.

The move is part of the vision of the leadership established by the founding father, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, and the support of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler's Representative in Al Dhafra, and H.H. Sheikh Tahnoun bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Ruler`s Representative in Al Ain Region, and the follow up of H.H. Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of Abu Dhabi Executive Council.

The initiative aims to provide a decent life for the people of the UAE, and to mobilise all energies and possibilities to push forward the process of comprehensive development.

Sheikh Mohamed ordered the distribution of 1,789 residences valued over AED2.1 billion including Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and Al Dhafra regions, and 2,647 residential plots worth over AED1.3 billion.

The housing loans were distributed across 1,000 construction loans, 150 demolition and reconstruction loans, 20 maintenance loans, and 80 maintenance and expansion loans costing over AED2.4 billion.

In addition, 1,108 beneficiaries were approved for the first land swap with a purchase of ready-made housing units and purchase loans of over AED1.3 billion.
