Mangaluru, Dec 11: The department of Computer Applications, St Agnes College in association with Innovation Cell, IIT Bombay and Robokart organized a two-day workshop on ‘Python Programming’ on December 7 and 8.

Sr Dr M Jeswina, principal of St Agnes Degree College presided over the inaugural programme and addressed the gathering. Shiv Kumar Varma from Robokart, Mumbai was the resource person.

Neena, PTA, vice-president, Malavika Shetty, dean administrator, Sreevalli Shetty, head of the department of Computer Applications and co-ordinator of the workshop with two student representatives from II and III BCA inaugurated the workshop.

The workshop was conducted in four different sessions which was designed to be practical with examples and exercises to provide skills and encourage participation.

Sreevalli Shetty welcomed the gathering and introduced the resource person. She also gave the overview of the workshop. Asha M, assistant professor of the department of Computer Applications proposed the vote of thanks. Sandra of II BCA compered the programme.
