PM has helped me the most, don't hate him: Rahul Gandhi

Ahmedabad, Dec 13 (IANS): Congress President-elect Rahul Gandhi has said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi helped him "the most" and he does not hate him.

"Modiji has helped me the most... How can I hate him," Rahul Gandhi said in an interview to Gujarati news channel GSTV.

He was asked about the comments made against the Nehru-Gandhi family by the Prime Minister.

"If you look at religion and the history of the nation, love has to be the response to hatred. There is zero emotion of anger and hatred in me," he said in response to a question on the comments made on the Nehru-Gandhi family.

"It is the nature of our family. Maybe the legend of Gujarat, Mahatma Gandhi taught this to our family...," he added.

It all comes down to upbringing, decency, education, culture and values..........................Our poor PM did not have such good upbringing and so one should excuse him for all that rubbish which comes out from his mouth. Dr Manmohan Singh and Dr.Kalam, to came from poor and humble beginings, but never went about beating their chests and crying. They are therefore known, respected, revered and honoured the world over for their achievements. good education, good upbringing, good friends make all the difference.

Ruling or opposition - all are Indians and in democracy, we all may have differences with Modi or the Ruling party, because of not meeting his electoral promises, but as a person, how can anyone hate him and why should?? He too is an Indian like all of us and has the every right to express himself. He is our PM. For external forces, we must stand with him as one nation, despite our internal differences if any. Lets not hate the person but hate only the policies/failures which can be changed through democracy. Lets maintain our great culture of respect.

If someone knows the tactics to success, why can't others learn the trade too?
That is trend in today's world. If cannot win with all the ethics & morals, why can't we win by hook or crook ?

Rahul, such Gandhitwa days are over.
Presently, we are in Kaliyug and need to be strong and determined to deal with aggressive elements to deter and silent the big mouths.
Improve your oratory skills and sound effect in your speeches so that the listners will get sensational and applaud you. Twist your tongue to the extend possible and wait for the result.

If someone is constantly barking at you it does not help to just keep barking back in politics. May be you might get some supporters to applaud and score a few brownie points now and then. The better response is to cut off the 'political jugular' of that person with smart moves/actions while staying connected with people. The other person will automatically quieten. Being smart instead of exhibiting foolish aggression is the need of the hour.
In my personal opinion Modi's decisions seemed reckless, made in haste and lacking in wisdom, That is why they failed. So Rahul needs to find wise and smart ways to counter Modi and the BJP. He has got a very talented and educated team to help him with that.

Absolutely true. The timing of Modi's demonetization and GST failures gave Rahul just the right launchpad to make a positive real impact on the voters for the Gujarat elections.Since then we see a new completely made over Rahul.
