Madikeri: Ramanath Rai challenges Kalladka Prabhakar Bhat to contest against him

Madikeri, Dec 16: "If he has got guts, let Kalladka Prabhakar Bhat contest against me in the next election," challenged Ramanath Rai, minister of forest. He was speaking to the reporters at Virajpete on Friday, December 15.

Rai ridiculed Bhat by saying, "Prabhakar Bhat will lose his deposit if he contests election. He thinks that he is of very high status in the society. But people of our locality know his true nature,"

"The money given by devotees to the temple should be utilized for the development of temple. Education department provides grant for the lunch of students of aided schools. Kalladka Prabhakar Bhat wants money instead of lunch for his school," he scorned and defended the stoppage of temple aid that was being given to the school run by Prabhakar Bhat.

    BJP has set a trap for Minister Ramanath Rai. First by character assassination then connecting him to minority appeasement.
    I would rather ask Mr.Ramanath Rai not respond to the BJP's questionnaire which is not related to the nation's interest. Instead of this he should counter two questions related to 'development' which party has promised to the citizens of India in the general assembly elections.
    The Congress party must show tolerant and more aggressive in opposition with evidence in the coming days.
    The party of difference shining India is good in diverging from real issues. So Pakistan, Love Jihad, Ayodhya, Ahmed Patel are the few examples which were used in recently held Gujarat elections.

    To the supporters of Cong and Rai . Despite being a Muslim , I have more respect for K Bhat for the simple reason, he never changed his stand, nor ideology nor words. On the contrary, I have lost respect for Rai who boasted the arrest of Bhat if he wins , to date kuch ukaada nahin .Despite being in power. He has fooled the muslim community and he is trying it again. All he did was stopped meals of the poor children in Bhats school. Allah wont forgive him for that. Its now a sign of 'mardhanigi' . So now with this new boast of his, What does he expect us to be,? impressed? We have to show him his place in the next elections.

    It's a secular world where all are equally treated.
    Rai is just inviting a Batru Vs Bantru duel, a polarisation he knows he can win due to sheer numbers. This is the secular ideals of the grand old party and most political parties.
    But why invite now? Why not in last election? Then RR was sure of winning no matter what.

    Temple priests are getting peanuts and most of the temples are hardly maintained.

    Mr.Rai, don’t try to fool the people. Please remember, during school children protest against stoppage of temple aide for mid-day meal program, you told that you have not involved in this & not given any instruction to the authority. But now it is very clear that you only ask the authority to stop the temple aide. Now come to the point, few month back during DK violence there was an allegation that dist. In charge minister involved in these incidents & interfered in police dept work. But you denied that allegation. In such a case how we can trust your statement.

    It's great tragedy for Mangalore to have these kind of politicians.... Come with development manifesto like improving infrastructure and job creation... Not these kind of bullshit challenges... Mangalore is pretty developed as of private infrastructure is concerned....but honestly speaking it's least developed in Karnataka with regards to public utilities....just bcoz we have these kind of useless politicians..

Even smaller cities than Mangalore like Shimoga, Hassan, Davengere etc have over taken Mangalore in terms of development.     MR. RAI is fooling people. Prabhakar bhat is cultural promoting leader of RSS agenda inciting communal polarisation. Bhat creates atmosphere of polarisation and BJP (political wing of RSS) step into advantage in elections. It is strategy. hence Bhat cannot contest elections. Rai is political leader who cannot spread the polarisation hence can contest election

    BJP is loosing Bantwal because of no strong candidates and always imported Candidates. If Kalladka Bhat decides to contest, for sure, it will political retirement to Ramanath Rai and Bantwal will remain calm as communal elements will think twice before disturbing peace. KPB is like what Yogi is to UP. Comavadhis will put thier tail in between and keep low if KPB comes to power.
