Moodbidri: Cultural extravaganza Alva's Virasat to be held from Jan 12 to 14

Moodbidri, Dec 16: The 24th edition of national cultural festival, 'Alva's Virasat - 2018' will be held from January 12 to 14 at Vanajakshi K Sripati Bhat open ground at Vivekanandanagar, Puthige. This was announced by Dr M Mohan Alva, president of the foundation at a press conference here.

In the programme that starts every day at 6 pm, the first half will be dedicated to music and the latter half will have dance programmes. On the first day, there will be a grand procession from 5.15 pm, followed by the inauguration. The open ground can hold more than 50,000 spectators.

Dr Padmanabha Shenoy, public relations officer of Alvas was present.
