Mangaluru: Prestige International School & PU College to organise ‘Edu Expo’ on Jan 20, 21

Mangaluru, Jan 17: Prestige International School & PU College will organise ‘Edu Expo’, a state level academic exhibition on January 20 and 21 between 9.30 am and 6.00 pm at the school auditorium in Jeppinamogaru.

The main purpose of this expo is for the development of the unaided schools of rural area, by offering them the necessary guidance for the overall development of the school.

Mohammed Beary, president D K Schools Association and Capt Brijesh Chouta, president, Mangalore Kambala Committee will be the chief guests of this exhibition.

During the programme, ‘State Level Prestige Talent Search Exam’ will be conducted on January 21 at Prestige school auditorium. About 200 students, 73 principals, 73 teachers from 13 districts of Karnataka will participate. The main purpose of this test is to hunt for talented students and to award them.

Best student, best principal and best teacher awards will awarded with top three students receiving Rs 25,000, Rs 10,000 and Rs 5,000 respectively. The best principal and best teacher will be awarded Rs 10,000 and Rs 5000 respectively.

This award programme will be continued in the coming years, and not limited to the year 2018.
