Mangaluru: Grace Ice Cream bags three national awards

Mangaluru, Jan 20: Brining laurels to the city, renowned ice cream maker Grace Ice Cream has been bestowed three awards of national recognition.

Grace Ice Cream bagged the awards in the season six of The Great Indian Ice Cream & Frozen Dessert contest held in Gurugram, New Delhi recently. It won the gold in ‘Best Chocolate’ category, and silver in ‘Standard Vanilla Ice Cream’ and ‘Most Innovative Ice Cream’ respectively.

The contest was organised by DuPont Nutrition and Health. As many as 103 ice cream companies in India took part in it. The judges’ panel consisted renowned ice cream specialists and 25 judges from leading F & B Companies.

Grace Ice Cream is based in Mangaluru and was started by Bernard D'Souza in 1998.

    Congratulations!! Wonderful news to know that GRACE ICE CREAM has bagged three national awards. I do remember tasting the yummy and tasty ice cream when I was in Mangalore a few years ago. I am sure you have a 'secret recipe' and that makes it Special.
