its common knowledge that the officers cannot show their efficiency if they are transfered frequently.
In the last year or so, there must have been at least three transfers of SP.
Is this how administration is run by Siddu?

Mr. B R Ravikanthe Gowda welcome to the deck. It is not going to smooth sailing in smart city Mangalore were both Congress and BJP has forged an alliance with fanatic elements.
You can rule without being being firing single shot. The first thing you need to do is increase the intelligence to street level. Your close confidence can be trusted appoint the the one whom you believe.

Local politicians will not allow you to survive. So target your guns on the funds. It is the drug and land mafia at the helm. Secondly private security business with nexus of local politicians. So review all the private security business and audit all its staff background check. Give round the clock security cover by law enforcement by withdrawing the private security.
There are many rival groups. You can make use of it without shooting the messenger.
    All the best.

Good move by state govt. Its necessary to stem the rot in the district and take it to its previous glory. The educated district has become battlefield of communal forces.

Congratulations to the new officer and all the best to the officer going out.

It is your fate that you keep being transferred even before you settle down. Kudos to you that you take these in your stride.

Mangalore badly needs a singam to put a full stop to communal forces and to eradicate moral goodaism. But then again there is lot of other issues our city is facing. Rowdy private bus drivers, fleecing auto drivers, so called guardians of our culture and society. Not easy in a city like ours where people are easy to be emotionally blackmailed and made to hate each other in the name of religion.

I guess its just hope that carries us all forward. Because we still have good people in the society. Hope the new officer lives by his name and fame.
