Mangaluru, Feb 18: Padma Vibhushan awardee and founder of Isha Foundation, spiritual guru Sadhguru on Sunday February 18 delivered the founder's day lecture on 'Life Audit' at Karnataka Bank head office premises here, commemorating the Bank's completion of 94 years of purposeful banking and now stepping into its 95th year.

Addressing the gathering Sadhguru said, "I have fond memories of Mangaluru. It is good to note that Mangaluru has been the mother of five national banks. In the making of this nation we have to think of its well-being and not be dependent on success alone. Everyone thinks money is a commodity but it is a connection tool, this is what we have been mistakenly taking money for, and as a result, suffering.

"We always think about how to ensure our well-being, some times well-being is through knowledge, some may think about money, love, relation, work and health. So what is well-being all about? When do we feel that we are doing well? Everyone knows about full-fledged work, city, trees, area and so on, but no one knows what a full-fledged human being is. We live in such a way that we always prefer to want more and more as if we are living in installments," he said.

"Our limitations and boundaries of living are exceeding and we are living in a unconscious way. Our life needs attention, for which life audit must be done to understand as to how joyful we are, how blissful we are, about the flexibility of life, changes in our life - this helps to be attentive to our life. Till the age of five we will be flexible, but as days progress there is some or the other person who makes you happy or unhappy, giving you a lot of conditions on how to live, how to enjoy. To have a joyful, blissful life, living peacefully is not a goal but a basic requirement. Joy is a human capability but unfortunately it is exported to heaven," he said.

"Auditing yourself is always good. If you want to know whether you are growing better or worse as days progress, internal audit is better. If you prefer external audit, it will lead to conflicts. Even when you are on the verge of dying, try to live joyfully, enjoy every moment of your life and experience it. It is the instrument of survival, the instrument of life. Each chord should arrange itself without overwhelming us. Even money and wealth should be arranged accordingly and support our life," said Sadguru.

"We should work towards our well-being, it does not happen simply. We should do the right thing in a right way. Unless you do the right thing you cannot ensure well-being," he added.

Managing director and CEO of Karnataka Bank Mahabaleshwara M S welcomed the gathering, chief general manager Raghavendra Bhat rendered the vote of thanks, while Jennifer Moras compered the programme.

Founder's day lecture was followed by carnatic classical vocal musical concert by Vidushis Ranjani and Gayatri. Vidwans Mysore H N Bhaskar on violin, Delhi Sairam on mridangam and G Chandrasekara Sharma on ghatam accompanied the duo.

Yes He is a great teacher, but ultimately he is a human being and can speak from human wisdom. I too followed him for long until i was awakened by the Great Teacher Jesus Christ who repeatedly said Follow me. Wisdom lies in the fact that we follow Godly wisdom .

The Abrahmic Religion ( belief) followers will not understand the spiritual word internal audit. They belongs to organized religions and hence they are believers not spiritual or seeker. For them Centre of authority is external God written in their holy books. For them There is only one God which they only believe it.

They believe there is one God
They believe there is Hell and heaven
    They believe God is testing
They believe there is only one life

Out of three Abrahamic religions, Christians are more liberal and willing to listen to wise people like Jaggi Vasudev, Deepak Chopra etc..
There is a lot of scientific evidence now to prove what Adiyogis said 15000 years ago. meditation is the way forward to save humanity by reducing depression and corruption.

The concept of internal audit is great but who will set the standards in this fallen world. Each man will have his own standards which all may not agree with. That is why any external spiritual being(God) is a moral law giver and has set a moral law (Ten Commandments and the 2 set by Jesus ,which is th sum of the 10’commandmsnts) which is universal for the whole world. The beauty is when we recognize this ,we will live in honor and dignity towards every person because everyone is created in the Holy image of the Eternal Holy God

Those who really do internal audit of their life and correct themselves will surely lead saintly life.
Sadly our society does not take them as their role models.
But there are many acting Saints, whom our society adores, despite knowing very well that they are good actors!

internal audit should be done on self specially teachers and preachers who are supposed to lead by example.
A case of murder or similar accusations being closed as having no evidence either means the case was closed because of “pressure”, or the case was opened because of “pressure.” Which is the case here? It is hard to find any “hard” evidence because of the very nature of such “pressure”
