Mangaluru, Mar 10: “College life is a golden opportunity. Every student has to make the maximum use of it and mould your personality. All the virtues must be imbibed in this period so that when you step out of the portals of this college you should be fully prepared to face the challenges ahead” said Prof Rolphy Mascarenhas, HOD and dean, department of Political Science (Rtd), St Aloysius College, addressing the guests, parents, staff and the students of Mahesh College of Commerce and Management.

He was speaking as the chief guest on the occasion of annual day celebration on March 3 at Canara High School auditorium, Urva.



CA Gopalkrishna Bhat, CEO of Sidhant Foundation and founder of Trisha classes, presided over the function. Addressing the students he motivated them to have a goal in life and strive hard to achieve it. Principal Prof Herald Fernandes presented the report of the events held and the accomplishments of the college. The achievers were rewarded with various awards. The convenor of the programme Shainy V P welcomed the gathering. Shameel Yakub Khan, the president of the Students’ Council gave the vote of thanks. This formal programme was followed by a colourful and mind-blowing entertainment programme.
