Mangaluru: TA Ashokan receives doctorate from Commonwealth Varsity UK

Mangaluru, Mar 12: TA Ashokan, Karnataka Security Services of Mangaluru recently received honorary doctorate for HR Management from Commonwealth University UK. 

Ashokan TA started his business career from a very humble beginning. In 1994, he took off Karnataka Security Services with two employees and at present is one of the top security companies in Mangaluru with more than 2000 employees.
Later, he started Karnataka Personnel Services in 2002. The year 2007 saw him going international by starting Technical Contracting LLC in Sharjah and later in 2011 Facility Management in Dubai.

Till date, more than 15000 personnel have been employed through his organisations. Unemployment being a social issue in India, his contribution in proving jobs to many youths is significant. He has received many awards and accolades for his immense contributions in creating job opportunities.

Indian Economic Research Association in 1998 proposed Ashokan TA for Bharatiya Udhyog Ratan and received the honour from Maneka Gandhi, social justice minister. He also received Udhyog Pramuk award in 2002 from the first Malayalam daily. Kairali We TV & Keralasamajam jointly awarded him excellence award in manpower management in 2017. He has been an active Rotarian since 2007 and had held various positions. At present, he is TRF chairman and a major donor. He is an MPHF in rotary with rest of his family as PHF. He is an active member of Red Cross Society and is very actively involved in philanthropic and charitable organizations.

Ashokan TA was born in Palakkad in a family with agriculture background. He started his career as a sincere and dedicated employee. Later, he became a successful entrepreneur.

Ashokan TA is married to Sini. The couple is blessed with two children.
