Kundapur: Vehicle carrying cash hits parked tipper on highway; two injured

Kundapur, Mar 13: Two people sustained injuries when a vehicle carrying cash hit a tipper parked on Thekkatte national highway on Monday March 12.

Raghavendra and Rajesh, both resident of Basrur who were injured in the accident have been admitted in hospital.

Rajesh has serious injuries on his hand, leg, stomach and head.



The sand laden tipper had stopped at Thekkatte highway. The vehicle had arrived from Kota and hit the tipper. The vehicle was badly damaged in the impact. Driver Raghavendra and staff Rajesh were stuck in it.

Young men from the locality pulled out the injured with great difficulty and took them to the hospital. Tipper driver Pandu escaped with minor injuries.

A case has been registered at Kota police station.
