Mangaluru: Kishore Alva inaugurates unique programme ‘Patriotism, Singing, Swachatha’

Mangaluru, Mar 15: President of Adani UPCL Kishore Alva inaugurated a unique programme ‘Patriotism, Singing, Swachatha’ held in association with the prestigious Adani UPCL near Mangalore City Corporation recently on the eve of decennial year of Karavali Sangeetha Kalaveedara Okkuta of Dakshina Kannada and Udupi district.

President of Adani (UPCL) Kishore Alva said, "We need to appreciate the social concern of musicians who took this initiative in cleaning the city, along with showcasing their music talents.”

Nearly 150 artistes took part in the musical cleanliness programme and received heaps of praise from the audience for their patriotic song performance. Skating by Saanidhya Special School was the special attraction during the event.



President of Karavali Sangeetha Kalaveedar Okkuta Jagadeesh Shetty delivered the introductory speech, Murlidhar Kamath welcomed the gathering, and Ranjan Das rendered the vote of thanks.

Chairman of Sri Devi Educational Institution Sadananda Shetty, Charan Kumar, member of Tulu Sahitya Acedamy, Shivanand Karkera, Vasanth Kadri, and Sanidhya Special School administrator Vasanth Kumar Shetty were present.
