Export duty on sugar scrapped


New Delhi, Mar 21 (IANS): The central government has completely removed the duty on export of "raw sugar, white or refined sugar".

According to a Central Board of Excise and Customs (CBEC) notification issued on Tuesday, the export duty on "raw sugar, white or refined sugar" has been reduced to "Nil" from 20 per cent.
