Mumbai, Apr 14: Bantara Sangha, here celebrated Bisu Parba, Bunts Day 2018 and the annual friendly get-together on April 14 at Radhabai Thimmapa Bhandary auditorium, Bantara Bhavan, Kurla.

President Padmanabha S Payyade chaired the programme. Guests of honor World Bunts Federation president Aikala Harish Shetty and Thane Bunts Association president Kushal C Bhandary lit the traditional lamp.

Padmanabha Payyade released a special edition of a book on the success of Aikala Harish Shetty edited by Jayarama N Shetty.

Jaya A Shetty, Vittal S Alva, CA Sadashiva Shetty, Ulthooruguthu Mohanadas Shetty, Rathnaker Shetty Mondkooru, Gunapal Shetty Aikala, Nalyaguthu Prakash T Shetty, Dr Sunitha M Shetty, Adyar Diwaker Shetty, Suresh Shetty Shibarooru, Diwaker Shetty Kurla, Navin Shetty Innabalike and other office bearers were present.

Nine regional committee members, women and youth wing performed dances and other cultural entertainment.

Mahvishnu Kripa Banta Yakshagana Kala Vedike and Bantara Sangha committee members performed 'Beere Devu Poonje' Yakshagana play.
