Dubai, Apr 16: Karnataka Cultural Foundation (KCF) has condemned the gruesome Kathua rape and murder case and demanded to formulate a mechanism by which those accused of raping minors are handed the death penalty immediately.
KCF has appealed that fast track courts should also be set up to complete proceedings in matters of sexual violence against women speedy way. It expressed sadness over that fact that the Nirbhaya Fund has not been utilized properly.
It further said that the Kathua case is a matter humiliating the entire human race. Expressing condolences, KCF has appealed the government of India to provide justice to the Kathua victim’s family.
