Mumbai: Vasai Konkani Welfare Association presents Konkani drama 'Bostu'

Mumbai, Apr 19: Vasai Konkani Welfare Association on Sunday, April 18 performed a Konkani comedy drama 'Bostu' at YMCA auditorium, Manikpura, Vasai west.

A simple hall programme was held during the interval of the drama. Veteran Konkani dramatist Francis Fernandes Cascia was chief guest. Social workers Robert Menezes, Jossy Menezes, dramatist Joy Palladka, former president of the association, Stephan Fernandes, Model Bank director Ancy D'Souza Paladka were guests of honour.

Organizer and writer of the drama, Leo Fernandes, Jerimeri and Felix D'Souza who put in lot of work in Konkani language were felicitated with flower bouquets and a shawl.



The drama is directed by Leo Fernandes. Flavy Cordeiro, Silvia Fernandes, Flavia Fernandes, Henry Menezes, John D'Souza, John Rodrigues, Francis Lewis, Navin D'Souza and other artistes acted in it. Henry Pinto, Albert D'Costa and Mabel Reginald Santumayor assisted.

Riyona Mascarenhas sang the national anthem. Vasai Konkani Welfare Association president Reginald Santhumayor welcomed the gathering. Roili Santumayor and Queenie Pilli performed a welcome dance. John D'Souza compered the programme. Henry Pinto thanked everyone.
