Mangaluru: Tulu film ‘My Name is Annappa’ - songs' shooting in progress

Mangaluru, Apr 23: The shooting of songs of Mayur Shetty’s directorial venture ‘My Name is Annappa’ is in currently progress. With the completion of songs, the film will then go for post-production.

One of the most awaited films in Coastalwood since its launch, ‘My Name is Annappa’ has raised curiosity among fans. The film was recently in the news for having record number of characters in Tulu film.

Actor Manju Rai will make his first appearance as lead hero of ‘My Name is Annappa’ with a new face from Canada, Shubha, who will make her debut as lead actress in the film.

It also stars Naveen D Padil, Bhojaraj Vamanjoor, Aravind Bolar, Sathish Bandale, ‘Comedy Khiladigalu’ fame Hithesh Kumar Kapinadka, Mr Karnataka International winner Sandeep Shetty Katipalla and others.

Well-known Sandalwood actor Rangayana Raghu will also make his debut in Coastalwood with an appearance in the film.

Mayur Shetty apart from directing the film has handled the story, screenplay and lyrics. Five songs will be composed by music director Kishore Kumar Shetty.
